Our Classmates
Introduction
We’ve been managing our Classmate Database for years – Up until our 35th Reunion, it totaled approximately 200 – After our 35th, we decided to include every classmate found in all 4 yearbooks plus a few friends pushing our database total to 434.
While it was easy to append 200+ new records to the database, it wasn’t easy finding our new, Unaccounted-For-Classmates (“UFCs”) – Enter Barb Pirie (Acello) – Barb had a background checking business and when asked, she enthusiastically offered significant time and investigative resources to help find our UFCs.
Sadly, Barb passed in 2020 and we all owe her a debt of gratitude for the success we have had with our reunions – Attendance has been great but her efforts have helped with the rekindling and rejuvenation of many, friendships that go back 40 to 50 years – Thoughts and Prayers Barb – We love you!!!
Interesting Facts
During our 4 years at LFHS, we attended classes with over 400 classmates – Based solely on yearbook pictures, our population by Class consisted of:
- 296 Freshman
- 315 Sophomores
- 333 Juniors
- 320 Seniors
There was a core group of 203 who were our classmates throughout all 4 years.
Based on 8th grade graduation programs, our LFHS Class was comprised of:
- 166 Deer Path Alum
- 104 Lake Bluff Alum
- 32 St Mary’s Alum
In addition, according to our database (please give us updates where appropriate), we had at least:
- 1 Lake Forest Country Day Alum
- 1 Foreign Exchange classmate
- 2 classmates who attended Ferry Hall
- 4 classmates (possibly more) who transferred to Lake Forest Academy
Classmate Status
Our Classmate Status categories can be summarized as follows
- Found – We have contact information to reach these classmates
- Not Found – Represents a combination of no contact information or not interested in being contacted
- In Memoriam – These are classmates we know we have lost
